CAMP!
On the 22nd-24th of September, the Year 6 went on a fun filled camping trip to Shakespeare Lodge. Even though the weather wasn’t great, it didn’t damp our enthusiasm. It was still two nights and threes days of total excitement. Everybody enjoyed the camping experience…even the teachers and parent helpers.
Some obstacles were a challenge but all children were determined to conquer them. The feeling that they got after achieving it, words cannot describe their emotions. There were definitely sweat and tears!
For once, camp food was not a disappointment, so “Thank You” to the parents who helped cook our meals every day.
Every day was an adventure for us, from shooting arrows to learning a routine in our groups for the camp skit performance.
Unfortunately, camp had to come to an end, it was over so quickly but we all found a new confidence in ourselves and the pride of helping others and it was totally FUN!!
Lastly the Year 6 students and teachers of Team Four would like to say a very big “THANK YOU” to all the parent helpers who came along. Camp wouldn’t have gone so well without your help and support.
