In Team Two we have been busy learning about Plants and Jack and the Beanstalk we thought integrating clay into the unit would be some fun.
We used tools to create different patterned effects, we worked the clay into a shapes, we created our own patterned tile and made clay models.
We learnt different vocabulary:
Kneading
Slip
Score
Stick
Sgraffitio
Sprigging
Piercing
We enjoyed being able to get our hands dirty and explore with the clay (even the teachers!)
