Room Four – Our Penguin Pictures
Motivation: Penguins – book by Sunshine Books and the Movies –‘March of the Penguins’ and ‘Happy Feet.’
Using sketching pencils we drew round stones and then shaded the gaps in between. Once that was done, we smudged into the centre of each stone to create a 3D look. The background was dyed. Using black sharpie pen we drew a large emperor penguin. Highlights of colour were added with Jovi crayon. We carefully cut out our penguins and glued them onto on stone backgrounds.
We think our penguin pictures look great!
