Parking

• Parents are NOT to bring cars into the staff car park nearest to the office.
• Please drive in the Hall driveway and exit by the Bowling Club.
• The car parks by the path of the drive-through area are DROP OFF and PICK UP ONLY.
• Cars are not to be left unattended in these spaces at the beginning and end of school.
• Parents may park on the area in the centre of the drive-through area.
• If delivering or picking up children from outside the school please observe the yellow lines and bus stop to ensure the safety of all.

Other Drop Off Areas

• Outside school between the 2 entrances is a 5 minute parking area to allow for "drop off" and "pick up."
• In Sultan Street around from the pedestrian crossing there is a five minute park area for "drop off" from 8am to 9am.
• In Kalmia Street outside the church are five minute parks for before and at the end of school.

Bicycles

• Children from Age 10 may bring bicycles to school unaccompanied.
• Children younger than 10 years old may cycle to school but must be accompanied by a parent.
• Before cycling to school commences, the ‘Ellerslie School Parent Permission for Cycling to School' must be completed. This form is available from the school office.
• Bicycles must be in a safe condition.
• Children must wear an approved helmet.
• A cycle rack is located at the school.
• It is advised that bikes be locked when parked on the school grounds.
• Bicycles must be wheeled:  From shopping area to school if on the footpath.  From Gt South Road lights to school if on the footpath.
• A copy of the B.O.T. Policy on Cycles is available on request.

All bus pupils meet monitor outside Library immediately after school before proceeding to the bus stop.
