Parent Teacher Association

The School P.T.A. meets monthly in school staffroom.  Notice of meetings are included in newsletters.

The P.T.A's main functions are:

• To foster closer relations between parents and teachers for the benefit of the children.
• To assist Ellerslie School children by raising funds for educational resources.
• To promote Ellerslie School.
• To understand and appreciate the diverse ethnic make up of our local community and to promote racial harmony.
• To bring more involvement between parents and school.
• To involve the local community in our school.

Some ways that you can help are:

• Parent help in classrooms
• Fundraising activities
• Helping with school resources and sport.
• Attend working bees.
• Friday sausage sizzle
• Car parking at Ericsson Stadium
• We welcome any input that you may offer.
• If you would like to be involved in this friendly, active and effective group please contact a group member or come to our next meeting (advertised in the school newsletter). You will be most welcome.
