Marist Softball Club Junior Registration
Greetings from Auckland Marist Softball Club Inc.
We are a family-oriented club based at Simson Reserve, Penrose, and welcome new members of all levels to our club. This season, we are looking for kids from the ages of 4-12 to participate in the upcoming softball season.The tee-ball module is provided for kids, normally up to the age of 9, and is designed for learning the basic skills of softball.
This season, the module will be held at Simson Reserve on Friday evenings from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.The games are 60 minutes in duration.We would even be interested in schools entering their own school team. Softball is generally designed for the older kids, from the age of about 10.Games are normally played on a Saturday morning and run for approx. 1hr 15 - 1hr 25, depending on the grade.Start times are generally either 9:00am or 10:30am. There are many reasons why kids should choose softball as a summer sport: It Encourages a Healthy Lifestyle, It Promotes Self Esteem, Learn Goal Setting, Learn About and Experience Teamwork, Learn About Dealing with Adversity and most of all having fun.
All information regarding the upcoming season is on our website. It even includes an online registration, and information regarding fees. If you think students at your school would be interested in playing softball this season, please contact me.I can provide some information to add to the school newsletter, or a flyer for the kids to take home to their parents or just contact me if you have any further questions.
