Room 10's Flags
The students of room 10 were asked to draw a flag that represented them. Here are some of the comments the children made about their flags and why they choose that particular picture.
Henare – My flag represents my 2 countries.
Mitchell – My flag represents my favourite 2 colours.
Mahdi – My flag represents my family and my Grandma.
Alide – The ice skate represents me as I love ice skating. The Dutch flag for my mother, the kiwi fruit because my sister is crazy about them and the milk for my Dad. The tulip for my name, the girls for my cousins and an orca as I want to be a marine biologist.
Lauryn – My flag represent Samoa, from my Dads side.
Abigail – My flag represents the Philippines for my Dad and China for my Mum.
Carlos – My flag represents my Maori culture and the ones who have past away.
Marco – My flag represents my country and my school.
Mason – My flag represents the country I come from.
Jackson – My flag represents volcanoes because I like volcanoes.
Troy - My flag represents Ellerslie School because I like school.
Louise – It tells me about my country the Philippines and where I lived when I was there.
