Tree Planting

Ellerslie School celebrated World Environment Day sending 55 students from Room 20 and Room 12 to plant over 700 native trees and plants near the Manukau Harbour. These plants help to stabilise soil (helpful in times of heavy rain) and prevent farm pollutants being washed into our waterways. Thanks to Trees for Survival, Mrs Watts, Mrs Gregson, Mr Renata and the parents and students who helped make this a successful and enjoyable day.
