New uniform list for 2012
DRESS CODE
The following dress code is a Board of Trustees requirement for all pupils. Please note all senior students must be wearing the correct senior uniform.
SUMMER CLOTHING
1. Shorts - Navy blue drill for boys.
2. Culottes - Navy blue cotton for girls.
3. Polo Shirts - Sky blue polo shirt featuring navy striped collar and navy placket and with "Ellerslie School" embroidered on left breast.
4. Sweatshirt - Straight-sided navy blue with School emblem sewn on left breast.
5. Footwear - Sandals or closed in shoes with white socks. 6. Headwear - Navy blue cap or blue cricket hat (to be worn outside at all times)
7. Vests - Navy blue with "Ellerslie School" embroidered on left breast.
8. Jackets - Navy blue jacket.
WINTER CLOTHING
1. Tracksuit pants - Navy blue for boys and girls.
2. Shorts - Same as for summer.
3. Culottes - Same as for summer.
4. Shirts - Same as for summer.
5. Skivvy - (Optional) Sky blue available from most chain stores.
6. Sweatshirt - straight-sided same as for summer.
7. Footwear - Closed in shoes with white socks. Gumboots may be worn to and from school on wet days.
8. Vests - Navy blue with "Ellerslie School" embroidered on left breast.
9. Jacket - Navy blue jackets.
SENIOR UNIFORM
1. Blouse - Girls / Shirt - Boys (emborided with Ellerslie School Senior)
2. Year 7 & 8 Black "plain school shoes" with white socks or plain Black Sandals.
PE-FITNESS
Year 5-8 pupils are to wear an Ellerslie School sky blue T-shirt and navy shorts for Physical Education.
JEWELLERY
Only watches and ear studs are permitted for reasons of safety and security.
NOTE
1. All items of clothing are to be clearly named.
2. Uniform available for purchase from uniform shop at school.
3. Change over date for summer Labour Weekend.
Change over date for winter is first week Term 2.
4. No jandals or heels higher than 3cm are permitted for safety reasons.
5. The polo shirt is intended to be worn untucked.
6. No coloured nail polish to be worn.
