Vodafone Warriors Car Parking

March - September

We have a fantastic opportunity each year to utilise a business carpark next to Mt Smart Stadium and to sell the car parking spaces for all the Vodafone Warriors' home games.  This event is our biggest annual fundraiser outside of our school community.  This year we have the opportunity to earn more money as we have two extra games and we may have the opportunity for concerts!

What's involved?

  • 4 hours of your time in the afternoon / evening, twice a year.
  • Take payment and safely park cars.
  • Two volunteers remain with cars as security and two volunteers go to the game.
  • 20-30 volunteers needed (calling all dads/grandads/uncles!)

If you and a friend can help, or you would like more information, please contact Rachael McFretridge from the Fundraising Group via email.

Candy floss stands at Ellerslie Spring Fairy Festival

We will be selling candy floss again this year at the annual Ellerslie Spring Fairy Festival.  We will need many volunteers for this event as we have two stalls. If you would like to help us out, please contact us via email to register your interest.

Abacus Personalised Art

During term 3, students at Ellerslie School will create a beautiful piece of art which can be made into affordable calendars, cards, mouse mats, note-pads and diaries.  These make unique Christmas gifts for family and friends and are perfect for posting overseas.

More events to be confirmed later in the year!

About Us...

The fundraising group’s role is to raise money for Ellerslie School. All proceeds go towards various special projects or equipment that the school requires as set out by the Board of Trustees. Our school receives funding from the Ministry of Education for the basics required for educating our children, however this doesn’t cover any extras needed. Our group raises funds to enable the school to provide our children with more.

  • Our main purpose is to raise funds for the school.
  • We work on behalf of the school.
  • Our group is made up of parents and teachers who volunteer their time.

All funds raised by the fundraising group go towards our school and therefore our children.
