Established in November 1877, Ellerslie School celebrates a proud history of providing quality education to Year 1-8 students for over 145 years, making it one of the oldest schools in Auckland. 

Every child deserves to experience a safe and enjoyable time at school as well as be given the chance to learn the important skills needed to be successful in an ever changing world.  At the heart of the teaching and learning programmes sit the 5Cs of Learning (Creative, Confident, Collaborative, Compassionate, Curious) and the 5Bs of Behaviour (Be kind, Be a good friend, Be helpful, Be respectful and Be responsible). These important concepts are woven through all areas of learning and referred to on a daily basis.
